How GrowAILab Works: From AI Diagnosis to Measured Implementation

The process is designed to fund the right AI work, use existing capability first and keep implementation accountable to a business result.

GrowAILab separates diagnosis from implementation so the recommendation can be to use, configure, integrate, build or not proceed, even when GrowAILab could deliver the build.

01

Step 1: Start with the AI Ownership Scorecard

The Scorecard is a directional diagnostic across ownership, strategy, process, adoption, governance and measurement. It helps identify whether the business has an ownership problem, an implementation problem, or simply needs better use of tools it already has.

02

Step 2: Qualify the decision that actually needs to be made

Not every business needs an Audit. GrowAILab clarifies the business problem, accountable owner, process readiness, systems, authority, timing and whether a credible business case exists.

03

Step 3: Use the AI Ownership Audit when the opportunity set is still unclear

The paid Audit is a standalone decision asset. It can compare opportunities, identify prerequisites, test native capability, assess governance and produce a prioritized roadmap whether GrowAILab implements the work or not.

04

Step 4: Choose the smallest appropriate solution route

GrowAILab uses five decision states so technology follows the business case rather than the other way around.

USE

The existing software already solves the requirement adequately.

CONFIGURE

The capability exists but needs setup, rules, permissions, knowledge or process redesign.

INTEGRATE

The value lies in connecting systems, data and handoffs.

BUILD

There is a genuine capability gap and the economics justify custom work.

DON'T

The process, readiness, economics or risk do not justify intervention yet.

05

Step 5: Scope AI integration or implementation separately

Approved implementation has explicit scope, systems, users, data assumptions, human controls, testing, documentation and success measures. Strategy is not used to disguise unlimited development.

06

Step 6: Measure adoption and business outcomes

After launch, review actual usage, operating ownership, exceptions and the business metric that justified the work. Continue, change or stop based on evidence rather than sunk cost.

QUESTIONS

Common questions

Do I have to buy an AI Ownership Audit before implementation?

No. A clearly defined implementation or fixed-scope product can use a direct route when diagnosis would add little value.

Will GrowAILab recommend another vendor instead of building?

Yes. The right answer may be native software, a third-party product, integration, custom work or no AI.

Does GrowAILab deploy without approval?

No. Production changes require explicit authorization and appropriate testing.
